My experience is broad-based, including 20+ years in financial, operational and strategic planning. Over the course of my career, I've developed a solid business acumen and insight into key business drivers for success.
I worked part-time for Ernst & Young while attending Western Michigan University. I was hired full-time upon graduation and obtained my CPA license, performing audits for clients in a wide range of industries. In this role, I gained valuable insights about business operations and the factors that impact organizational profitability.
Later, as a finance leader for a large global enterprise, I performed a wide range of functions including Financial Planning & Analysis, Controllership, and Internal Audit. During my time with the company, I also had two overseas assignments in Korea and England. During these opportunities, I gained critical business experience, immersed myself in diverse cultures, and saw the world from a completely different point of view.
Throughout my career, I learned first-hand how challenging – and yet critically important – it is to recruit effectively and make great hires. When deciding to move forward with my dream of business ownership, PrideStaff was a natural fit to leverage my experience. Combining our expertise with PrideStaff's resources, my team and I help build lasting success for employers and job seekers throughout Grand Rapids and its surrounding communities.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, and I try to exercise as much as I can (I love fit body boot camp). I also enjoy spending time with friends, watching sports, and golf.
