The Business Development Manager will be responsible for Inside and Outside Sales, which includes:
- Maintain a sales territory
- Make inside and outside sales calls in order to set appointments with potential new clients
- Some cold calling is required
- Maintain client relationships and build new relationships
- Network to gain sales leads
- Research companies in sales territory
- Schedule appointments with clients and potential clients to discuss their staffing needs and any job orders
The Business Development Manager position requires someone who is a self-starter, highly motivated, and someone who has excellent people skills. Some other requirements are:
- 2 years of previous outside sales experience
- Previous experience in the staffing industry is a plus
- Previous experience selling staffing or other services is a plus!
- Experience managing a sales territory
- Ability to multi-task and set priority tasks for your day
- Must be well spoken, professional, and highly organized
- Previous client relations experience
- Ability to learn new computer programs quickly
- A minimum of an Associates Degree required
