We have a Client in Pleasanton that is seeking an Accounting Specialist. This is a great career opportunity!

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Assist in hands on monthly financial close process
  • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
  • Process monthly Enterprise, Fuel , Visa and AMEX statements
  • Prepare and post monthly overhead allocations
  • Monitor and update the Fastrack web site as necessary
  • Maintain vehicle listing
  • Reconcile Petty Cash
  • Prepare monthly commissions accrual
  • Insure accurate and timely vehicle registration and insurance
  • Maintain Fleet gas charge cards
  • Assist with quarterly warehouse and vehicle inventory and analysis
  • Prepare city business licenses renewals
  • Gross Margin exceptions reporting prepared bi-monthly
  • Titans Contest reporting as required
  • Act as back up to Accounts Receivable including: cash application, invoice posting, install job folder close out, collection activities and third party funding 
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Attend weekly accounting meetings
  • Assist with other projects as needed   

Job Requirements:

  • Min. 5 years accounting experience
  • Must have the ability to use Excel and Microsoft Office software; Sucessware / Service Max experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Motivated self starter player;
  • Excellent organizational skills and good flexibility to adapt to changing priorities;
  • Strong written and verbal skills; excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain strict confidentiality;
  • BA degree in finance or related field, desired
