Job Description

A very successful company in Kearny Mesa has an opening for a  Market Access Program Coordinator, reporting to the Vice President of Market Access, is a highly motivated, creative and resourceful individual that is interested in supporting a growing organization. Market Access sits within the Medical Affairs Functions and includes Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Reimbursement and Government Affairs. The Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the teams, developing presentation materials, coordinating internal and external meetings, and providing other operational and administrative support.  

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Develop presentation materials to support external engagements including, but not limited to industry panels and regulatory or customer meetings.
  • Develop, edit, and format slides and documents for internal and external presentation
  • Coordinate material submission and approval activities
  • Provide internal and external meeting support, including scheduling and organizing meeting space and activities, documentation and distribution of minutes and materials
  • Coordinate research contracts and related activities
  • Coordinate travel and manage expense reports for multiple team members
  • Order office and other supplies to support day-to- day work and meetings
  • Periodic travel may be required
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (economics, political science, other healthcare related) from a four year college or university
  • One (1) to three (3) years related experience
  • Experience in health software, pharmaceutical or medical device industry highly desired
  • Analytical skills needed to reduce issue to core components and understand key business impacts
  • Must have minimum of intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Practiced in performing research to support issue analysis and advocacy
  • Creative and resourceful in resolving issues, and ability to handle ambiguity
  • Clear and direct communicator
  • Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered
