Job Description

Customer Service Representative 

We are seeking an energetic Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for creating positive customer service experiences for our customers, as well as critical back-end business functions. The Customer Service Representative will report to the Customer Service Manager. 

  • Oversee customer orders from initial submission of purchase order through product delivery. Serve as first point of contact for incoming customer service calls and emails
  • Respond thoroughly and promptly to all customer inquiries with a sense of urgency
  • Assist customers with quotes, order confirmations, expedites, shipment tracking and invoice discrepancies
  • Record details of inquiries, as well as actions taken using CRM software
  • Understands the importance of detail and accuracy of clean order booking
  • Strive for positive relationship building with customer accounts
  • Responsible for special assignments or projects delegated by management
  • Cultivate familiarity with IronRidge products and software tools
  • An outgoing, personable individual with a positive attitude who makes a good first impression with customers
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and is always willing to assist others, must be punctual and reliable, self-motivated, comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be customer focused, possess strong time management skills, problem solving ability, strong follow-through skills and engaging pleasant phone presence
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent email etiquette and email management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Deploy exceptional organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail with a focused attitude to exceed customer and companywide expectations
  • Confident with MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word) and similar programs
  • Familiar with data entry systems
  • Bachelor's degree or some college coursework
  • Previous experience of 1-3 years in customer-facing roles
