Job Description

Great client in Erlanger is looking for a Sales Rep to join their team! As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be making outbound calls to a list of identified potential customers, providing information about our services and developing new business.  You must have Sales experience, be proactive, and have an intense drive for achievement.  Experience in a related industry, such as transportation, shipping, trucking or intermodal is highly preferred.  

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales leads through outbound cold calls, inbound lead follow-up, and communicating via email with potential customers 
  • Close new deals and achieve monthly quotas
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Build a pipeline of new potential business
  • Gain additional knowledge of various services and the Transportation industry

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 Years of Inside or Outside Sales Experience
  • Experience can include business to business (B2B), business to consumer (B2C), inside, or outside sales
  • Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • Proficient using a CRM to document sales related activity (such as Sugar, SalesForce, Batchbook, etc.)
  • Must be a proactive sales professional, always willing to go the extra mile for our employees and customers 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in one of the following industries preferred: Transportation, Shipping, Trucking, Intermodal or Supply Chain
