Job Description

 Bilingual German Customer Service / Admin

  1. Responsibilities:
     
    1. Take orders via email, EDI, fax or phone
    2. Enter orders into ERP system
    3. Check order entry for accuracy against customer PO
    4. Inform customers about discontinued or out of stock items
    5. Inform customers about expected delivery date
    6. Send out order confirmations
    7. Print pick sheets for warehouse
    8. Receive pick sheets from warehouse with shipping information and actual pick quantities
    9. Check pick sheet for accuracy and possibly make changes to order
    10. Work with warehouse to resolve variances between original order and actual pick sheet
    11. Depending on agreement with customer, enter shipping charges to invoice
    12. Print invoice and send to customer
    13. Handle complaints about unfulfilled/incorrect orders
    14. Coordinate with sales regarding order status, shipping dates, product availability and back orders
    15. Support entry of new pricing and promotions
    16. Obtain appropriate approvals for non-standard requests
    17. Provide support to remote sales offices and personnel
    18. Effectively and appropriately interact and communicate with the warehouse
    19. Able to provide vacation coverage for all coordinator positions
    20. Train your vacation backup and new hires
    21. Obtains additional information as necessary from a variety of sources
    22. Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
    23. Maintains customer records by updating account information.
    24. Provide weekly reports to management and customers.
       
  2. Requirements
     
    1. Must speak both German and English fluently
    2. Able to resolve complex issues with minimum supervision, and coordinate activities with other departments to meet deadlines.
    3. Able to take corrective actions or escalate issues to appropriate departments
    4. Able to prioritize incoming requests based on sales and customer needs
    5. Strong customer service and retention skills required.
    6. Strong computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel and Sage ERP 100
    7. Strong skills sufficient to carry out vital department functions.
    8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    9. Ability to communicate effectively and interact with all customers and departments.
    10. Excellent organizational skills

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Pay: $16 - $17/hr DOE
