Job Description

Robotic Weld Programmer needed for fabrication company in the Amelia area.  First Shift, full time, temp to hire position.  
 
Primary Role:
Responsible for system robotic programming, run off, creating fixtures, and start up robotic welder. Responsible to perform Q/C's check’s and verify welder is running correctly.
 
Essential Duties:
  • Coordinate with and assist manufacturing to build and integrate robotic systems and give feedback to Engineering.
  • Develop project programming plans and program structures
  • Develop necessary project processing parameters to meet quality requirements
  • Develop robotic weld fixtures to weld hold down and weld products
  • Ability to read mechanical blueprints
  • Analyze defective equipment, identify appropriate defective equipment and inform supervisors

Other:

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Administer various components and perform welding of clamps, holding and bolts according to specifications.
  • Manage work with help of manual welding machines and melt metals for various processes
  • Monitor all welding processes and ensure absence of any shrinkage and distortion to materials
  • Performs first-piece and in-process inspections
  • Manage welding work and ensure compliance to all specifications to perform defect free work.
  • Able to perform periodic maintenance duties
  • Ensure clean weld joint to obtain smooth look.
  • Maintains clean and safe working environment
  • Must have/provide own fabrication tools (Welding Helmet, Measurement Devices, etc.
  • May work at different workstations as production needs require.

Minimum experience:  3-4 years experience running/operating welding in fabrication environment preferred.

First shift - $18-20.00/hour DOE
