Customer Service Representative - Insurance Industry

Flexible hours: 9AM to 4:30 / 5:00PM
Local insurance office is looking for a sharp, detail oriented, customer service professional who is interested in launching a career in the insurance industry. Paid classroom training will be provided along with training to obtain your P&C license.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Take and resolve inbound calls from customers
- Make outbound calls to customers to advise them on renewals
- Process policy changes in the system
- Respond to customer inquiries through appropriate mediums.
- Attain performance level standards as outlined in performance objectives.
- Build personal skill set by participating in in-house insurance / industry related courses / seminars
- Stay current with relevant product(s).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements (include but are not limited to):
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- Motivated self-starter
- Attention to detail with demonstrated ability to self check work for accuracy
- Must meet individual performance, metrics and goals
- Must have above average written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be open accepting feedback when offered to reach full potential
- Must be willing to submit to full background check and drug screen
