Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Our client in the medical device industry is looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join their team!  This is a direct hire opportunity!   


Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to accounts receivable (AR).

Supervises and participates in the preparation of various AR statements and reports.

Audits weekly AR for accuracy. Assesses need and controls departmental expenditures in line with budget.

Coordinates preparation of internal and external audit materials. Assists internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls. Assists in establishing system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.

Supervise employees in the accounts receivable department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

4+ years experience in an AR supervisory role (at least five employees overseen)

Advanced knowledge of cash applications, reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies, chargebacks, credits and adjustments, month end close, and reporting.  

Knowledge of SAP and proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, v lookups, formulas, etc)

Prior to starting, selected candidate must complete a credit check, drug test and criminal background check.
