Gummy Plant Operator- Sunrise
PrideStaff is recruiting for several Gummy Plant Operator 1positions to fill critical shifts for a major Nutraceutical in the Sunrise, FL area.
The gummy plant Operator 1 is responsible for producing quality products through the efficient use of assigned
equipment and the accomplishment of procedures defined.

Business Unit Environment:
? Comply with GMP and Safety Guidelines meanwhile developing every activity in the plant.
? Coordinate with Kitchen and Depositor operators production startup and assist setup activities.
? Check and select trays on demolding process to assure optimal conditions for depositing.
? Dispose rejected trays to washroom and wash trays according to Standard Operation Procedures.
? Operate sugar sander and carry out basic quality checks to assure that processed product meets quality
? Monitor and Control process parameters assuring that all variables are within set ranges.
? Receive product and store in conditioning room keeping FIFO guidelines.
? Assure that all logbooks, batch records and other official documents are completed in a correct, accurate
and timely manner.
? Perform cleaning activities in accordance with Standard Operation Procedures.
? Assure the assigned equipment is operated in accordance with applicable Operational Manuals and Standard
? Assist Kitchen/Depositor operators and Team Leader in other areas as directed.
? High School Diploma or equivalent, with a mechanical aptitude.
? Fluency in the English language is required.
? Must be able to perform required repetitive lifting tasks.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,
and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to other employees
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and
decimals. Ability to compute percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Use measuring devices such as gauges, weight
scales, thermometers, calibrated steel tapes and calipers.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or
diagram form. Ability to deal with situations involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Observe and read
instruments, gauges, dials, etc. to determine operating conditions. Inspect, examine and observe for obvious product or
equipment defects not easily identified. Assemble or disassemble objects. Make equipment adjustments to obtain specified
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently stand, walk, kneel, lift, carry,
push or pull 50 lb. The employee will occasionally sit, crouch, crawl, bend at the waist, twist/ turn, climb ladder and stairs,
and taste or smell. Additionally, good vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus are required to perform this job.
