Accounting Clerk

Job Description:

  • Detail oriented (most important trait)
  • Data entry- will be inputting hourly employee timecards on weekly basis
  • Prepare general ledger entries
  • Analyze weekly payroll entries for accuracy
  • Labor Reports
  • Customer Billing Reports
  • A/R- enter deposits, apply customer payments, run & distribute A/R Aging
  • Managing cost by asset database for customer
  • General office duties- copying, filing, sorting, maintaining customer files
  • Reporting- extracting data from GL and creating monthly summary cost reports
  • Background in agriculture is a plus- not required
  • Oracle is a plus but not necessary
  • Advanced excel skills (pivot tables) – Pivot tables is a plus but can easily train
  • Degree in Accounting is preferred but not a deal breaker – Not required
