Experience: I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work and lead in a variety of environments and capacities, from small entrepreneurial IT firms to distribution and development of financial services products at large public companies. Each step has been a learning experience, from leading large IT projects early in my career to building a $140 Million agency with 130 employees in my last position. Over the years I have utilized temporary staffing effectively as a customer to build my business and manage the inevitable “ups and downs”. My unusual career path has provided a broad based perspective on how to serve the customer by executing on the basics, and by the way have a little fun on the journey. 

The big picture: My ambition is to be a top 5 provider in my market. Why settle for less?

The scoop on staffing: There are really two dimensions to how I think about the staffing industry. I spent a lot of time reading Analyst opinions, and talking to successful people in the business. Based on that and my own experience I concluded that staffing is and will continue to be a growth industry with a lot of opportunity. What’s more important is that while building a business there is an opportunity to positively impact a person’s career. I don’t think that there is anything more rewarding.

Secrets to success: The secret is there are no secrets. Enjoy your family, provide value to your customers, create a rewarding environment for employees, have a little (or maybe even more than a little) fun.

Stress relief: Golf in the good weather, the occasional cigar, a rack of pool, or when necessary really really loud music.
