How
On Target Works
DEVELOP MAP => EVALUATE vs
MAP => On Target Candidate
Part 1: Develop job MAP (minimum
acceptable performance)
- Face to
face meeting with department manager to develop job profile.
- Interview
current employees to verify duties and skill requirements.
- Job shadow
to insure a clear understanding of the position.
- Benchmark
current employees on critical skills:
- Design a set of evaluations
to key in on essential skills
- 4 to 6 current employees complete
evaluations (over the Internet)
- Calibrate results to develop
minimum acceptable performance criteria
- Share results with department
manager and participating employees
Part 2: Evaluate candidates
versus job MAP
- Candidates will complete same assessments as your employees.
- Only those whose results meet or exceed job MAP will be
referred for employment.
Notes:
For high volume positions (i.e., greater than 3 people in
a specific position), PrideStaff will benchmark your current
employees. For lower volume positions, PrideStaff has developed
job specific profiles based on compiling data from clients
across the U.S.
The On Target benchmarking process is
intended to define your company's minimum standards of performance.
The ideal candidates to evaluate are those people you define
as solid performers who regularly meet performance expectations.
