Our client is a business-to-business commercial and digital printer providing specialty solutions in multiple markets. The company is locally owned and known for producing high-quality signage, banners, posters, and other large-scale projects. The client seeks a skilled, detail-oriented Wide Format Print Operator to operate the printing equipment with the production team. Because the position is project-based, although the schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, schedule changes and overtime are frequent and expected. The responsibilities include operating wide-format Canon printing equipment and Zund wide-format cutting equipment; trimming, mounting, laminating, and finishing prints according to customer requests and job requirements; assisting with kit packing and packaging for shipping; ensuring proper material usage while minimizing waste; performing routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment; collaborating with the design and prepress teams to ensure the files are print-ready; troubleshooting print issues and resolving problems; maintaining an organized workspace; adhering to safety protocols; and keeping accurate records of print jobs and production metrics. The requirements include 1 year of recent experience working with wide format printing or a related production role; working with signage, display graphics, or architectural printing within the last 5 years; familiarity with raster image processor software such as Fiery; a proven understanding of print substrates, inks, laminates, and finishing processes; experience with cutting plotters, computer numerical control routers, or vinyl cutters; a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training; and the ability to read and interpret job tickets and technical instructions. Job Description

Looking to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with opportunities for overtime? The benefits upon hire include health care, a 401(k), profit-sharing, paid vacation days, paid time off, and nine paid holidays. The client provides systems integration, programming, UL 508 control panels, and field support to manufacturers building automated machinery in the Northwest. They also are a full-line stocking distributor for the components used in the assemblies bearing their name. The panel builder constructs automation control systems, with industrial control wiring, panel fabrication, and assembly. They use their thorough understanding of best practices and UL 508A requirements to produce one-of-a-kind control systems from schematic drawings. As part of the production team, the electrical panel builder collaborates with other builders, technicians, and engineers on challenging projects. The duties include: Level I (Fabricator): production skills and processes such as wiring and mechanical assembly; using hand tools like drills, jigsaws, grinders, and crimpers; performing in a team environment with high standards for document quality control. Level II: Level I skills and experience plus a thorough understanding of industrial control components and terminology; a functional understanding of UL 508A and NFPA79 standards; the ability to build from schematic drawings and plan efficient and standards-compliant panel layouts; and 1 year of experience. Level III (Master Builder): Level II skills and experience plus a complete mastery of wire prep, crimping, soldering, and red-line documentation, and 5+ years of experience. The general qualifications include strong organizational skills and attention to detail; good communication skills, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and lift 50 pounds; and reliable personal transportation
