Job Description
Looking for a great opportunity to accelerate your welding career? The job is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and requires performing assembly and welding operations of fabricated metal products. You might need to move to the Italian headquarters for a short training period with each internal department to master the overall concept of practice. The responsibilities include setting up and operating multiple hydraulic and electric drive bending machines. The requirements include good communication skills; the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings as they pertain to welding parts; setting up and welding parts using welding equipment and following welding procedures; reading and accurately interpreting specifications from cut sheets to determine material type and size; reading detailed production orders to determine product specifications, including dimensions and tolerances; working with raw pipe of varying sizes, bar stock, flanges, flat bars and sheet metal part templates; operating forklifts, hand cutting torches, pendant jibs, gantries, and overhead cranes; completing routine reports; calculating figures and amounts such as area, circumference, and volume; applying basic algebra and geometry concepts; using drills, files, grinders, hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, tape meters, calipers, and squares; working without close supervision; and exercising initiative. The physical demands include standing for long periods; using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms; frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; occasionally climbing, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and pushing and/or pulling a maximum force of 200 feet per pound. The qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years of experience with TIG and MIG welding, valid proof of eligibility to work in the USA, and the ability to travel within the USA and internationally.
