Our client is seeking a Paralegal to work onsite Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. The role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), and paid vacation days and holidays. The responsibilities include entering data into the firm’s customer relationship management software for conflict checks within the database(s); preparing and organizing filings; assisting with document management, e-filing documents and media, and processing daily incoming and outgoing mail, documents, voicemails, and share files; preparing basic correspondence, emails pleadings, and other documents; processing records and documents, including e-filing, service, and preparation of proofs of service; bate-stamping and redacting documents; inventorying documents; creating trial binders and making copies to assist with trial preparation; setting attorneys’ appointments, assisting in preparing for appointments or appearances, and confirming appointments; maintaining minimum billing requirements; scanning, copying, organizing, titling, and saving documents; assisting attorneys and staff with document retrieval and drop off; and supporting attorneys as needed. The requirements include 3 years of experience in a family law firm; experience operating a computer, photocopier, postage machine, scanner, and other office equipment; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Pro; organization; task prioritization; multi-tasking; collaboration; a positive attidue; reliability; detail orientation; flexibility; communication; open mindedness; and the ability to write professional correspondence and emails, work in fast-paced environment, lift to 50 pounds, and display a professional appearance and demeanor. Job Description

Immediate opening for a bilingual Workers’ Compensation Case Manager with 3-5 years of experience in workers’ compensation law. The on-site work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, with overtime as needed. Medical insurance and paid time off are included. The responsibilities include analyzing high volumes of cases and spotting issues, as well as opening, filing, and amending applications. Must be able to navigate cases from start to finish, including processing and managing workers’ compensation cases; reviewing, drafting, and responding to correspondence; conducting periodic reviews and evaluations of claims; maintaining constant contact with clients, carriers, DWCs, primary doctors, and defense firms; coordinating doctors and panels; preparing files for hearing and trials; drafting and organizing position letters; rating and settling cases; researching law; managing legal assistants; training staff; and compassionately fighting for injured workers. The requirements include 3-5 years of experience in workers’ compensation law, bilingualism in Spanish, exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, leadership, and the ability to manage others.
