PrideStaff Celebrates National Staffing Employee Week

September 20, 2017

PrideStaff, a nationally, franchised staffing organization, is joining staffing firms from across the nation in utilizing National Staffing Employee Week to personally thank their greatest assets, their employees, for all of the hard work and dedication they consistently bring to the industry, and for exemplifying their brand on each and every assignment. Established by the American Staffing Association, this commemorative week, September 18 – 24, is a time to honor the contributions of the millions of contingent employees working for U.S staffing firms.

According to the American Staffing Association’s Staffing Industry Statistics, more than three million temporary and contract employees work for America’s staffing companies during an average week. During the course of a year, these staffing companies hire nearly 15 million temporary and contract employees.

PrideStaff strives to implement the staffing industry’s key messages, Bridge and Flexibility, in every placement. Bridge represents the ability to transition from temporary to permanent jobs and/or become more employable due to temporary assignments, and Flexibility includes matching assignments with each employee’s work schedule needs. Every employee is unique, and the best staffing agencies are able to consistently provide opportunities and experiences focused on what they value most.

One testament to the benefits of working with a temporary staffing agency emanated earlier this year with Cedric Charles, a PrideStaff employee. Cedric was activated by the National Guard to provide support in southern Mississippi’s storm recovery efforts following a devastating EF3 tornado. “When I received my activation call, I was thankful to be working as a PrideStaff field associate,” said Charles. “Working on temporary assignments gave me the flexibility to earn an income, serve my country and my community, while still having time to be at home with my family. Whenever I had availability, PrideStaff was able to put me on an assignment, and my supervisor was very supportive.” PrideStaff acknowledges and thanks Cedric, and other employees like him, not only for his service, but also for representing their brand, mission, and values by working hard and going above and beyond every day.

“National Staffing Employee Week acknowledges all of the dedicated temporary and contract employees, like Cedric Charles, who contribute to the economies and communities of our entire nation,” said Tammi Heaton, COO with PrideStaff. “We are proud to take part in honoring our contingent workforce and we value their contributions.”
