Relevant Experience: My business background includes nearly 15 years in employer services and business-to-business services. Working in Fortune 500 firms, such as ADP and NCR, smaller technology firms and a venture-backed start-up has been great preparation for entering the staffing industry.

As a member of the marketing team at ADP, I worked closely with Fortune 1000 clients to gauge the value delivered by our solutions and to determine how to make them better. This included work on recruiting services, tax services, HR/payroll services and compensation systems. Regular involvement and discussions with senior HR, payroll, finance and tax managers have given me a strong appreciation of the budgetary, compliance, and talent challenges they face.

I also spent 3 years on the leadership team at a small tax services firm that served large retailers, telecommunications providers and manufacturers. This experience was personally rewarding and instructive in entrepreneurship. Clients depended on us to deliver timely, accurate, quality tax services to keep them in compliance and off the radar screen of tax authorities. Our culture of employee ownership, integrity and trust was the key to consistently delivering on these expectations. This is the type of culture I want to model at PrideStaff.

Most recently, my experience in a local job networking group caused me to explore businesses that have a direct, positive impact on people. Being out of work is humbling to the core. Having been there, I have developed a strong empathy for job seekers and employers in the current economic climate. However, I also found there is a personal reward in being able to connect with others and put them in touch with friends and colleagues in a position to help. This experience ultimately sold me on entering the staffing industry and joining PrideStaff.

What I like best about being in the staffing industry: The staffing industry offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful direct positive impact in the daily lives of our clients and candidates. At its core, this industry is about helping people, and it’s my sincere hope and mission to make this a daily reality.

Secret of my success: Faith, humility, and being blessed with talented friends and co-workers, a competitive spirit, and strong work ethic.

Favoite stress reliever: Hanging out with my daughters, a long walk with my wife, swimming or running. I’m also an Atlanta native and love taking advantage of all this city has to offer – great restaurants, entertainment and outdoor activities.
